User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Works pretty well
Works well and is easy to operate. When you select a destination from Favorites, it presents them in order of closeness, which is nice. It seems like the only way to save an address is to make it a “favorite”, at least it is the only way I trust. There doesn’t seem to be a way to search favorites, except by scrolling, or to classify them, so I think that will become inconvenient. I haven’t look to see if there is a way to backup/restore favorites to my computer, or display them on Google maps. That would be nice.

Unit works as advertised. I was able to get a factory refurb model that has worked very well and a lot easier on the budget too.

5 Stars Garmin 260W GPS system
This is my second Garmin gps system. The model 260W is wide screen 4.3″ display. Easy to read map. I can read the screen better than my Tomtom710. On and off button is slide; unlike the tomtom710 that stuck often(push in)-when it does not booth I have to reset it. I enjoy this one because it speaks street name(turn right on Main Street). My old garmin 200W does not; I often turn too soon or too late because of that! “where am I” feature is nice, I can save the location so I can re-visit. It does take me where I wanted to go plus the price is right.

5 Stars Garmin Nuvi 1
I received the Garmin and began using it immediately. It’s worked fabulously to save me time making my way around Detroit and Raleigh to do.
