1 Star Wish I could buy another mount
Same as the other folks, 3 months into riding mount broke off. Grant it some of the roads I ride on are pretty rough, but I almost lost this because I didn’t realize it was missing till I was a mile down the road, had to backtrack and found it in the middle of the road. THANK GOD No cars ran over it. Disappointed in Garmin for such a cheap mount like other viewers, might be beneficial for you to buy 2 or 3 in anticipation of the breaking mount.
1 Star Very poor design
I agree with the other one star ratings, except that one star is one too many. Unfortunately if you want to use your Edge on a bicycle, you have to have one of these. I have now broken three and I cannot figure out how not to break them. The tab that holds the unit in place is so fragile that a little bumping will break it off.
Bad job – Garmin. Fix it.

Me pareci?que para ser un producto original Garmin dejo mucho que desear, por que es demaciado simplona al punto que no me dio confianza como para arriesgar mi 550t en esa base.
4 Stars ok for a plastic holder
As for as plastic holders go this gadget is great and you can use this vertical or horizontaly. It holds so well on the bike that anything short of a train wreck won’t move it however the connection from the holder itself to your high dollar GPS is not so steadfast. I replaced this after 9 months of use after the plastic lever broke. The garmin needs to come off the bike to download data ino your computer and to recharge the battery so the lever is used a lot but it’s just a plastic lever and lasts about as long as you would expect a plastic lever to last. I have read bad reviews about (on the road failures) that caused the loss of their $600.00 unit and I could see it happening but it did not happen to me and I have learned to hear the audible click when I mount it on the holder. I would have to have some sort of safety latch before I upgrade to the edge 750.
4 Stars Much improved and simplier to install
The Garmin GPS handlebar mount has been redesigned to allow it to be attached in either direction without having to reconfigure it. This makes installation easier and less error prone!
