5 Stars Perfect for work-out or running!
I bought this just for running. Since now, I used to hold my mp3 in my hand and it was very annoying.. (and my hands got sweaty).. this is smaller than you think and sounds great! Compare to ipod shuffle, it is half the price but still good or better! Clip is also hold great…

5 Stars Small but mighty
I checked out the sansa clip before I purchased it. The clip is very inexpensive, small, has good features, and great sound. I have a MacBook and can download my songs easily from iTunes. To download songs from iTunes these songss need to be in the mp3 mode and MacBook can change any iTunes songs into mp3s easily. I am very pleased with the SanDisk Sansa Clip.
2 Stars Getting what you pay for…
I won’t be as overly negative as most of the 1-star reviews here. The player in question belonged to my wife.
So far as we’re able to determine, we are having the same problem many other negative reviewers had, namely, the battery life is not very good. After it’s activated, it turns itself off after about 2 or 3 seconds and no longer allows itself to be charged. However, the player has lasted for a year before having this problem. My brother also has the same problem and has had his for about the same amount of time.
YOU DON’T NEED RHAPSODY TO LOAD YOUR MUSIC. It is a drag and drop player. My wife found that, while it worked, it was a good player.
Her only real complaint is that you have to junk it and buy a new one every year. That said, it isn’t all that pricey. Just expect that after anywhere from 1-12 months, it will die.
5 Stars Feature Rich and priced below most competition
I needed a player that’s very small and could bookmark my podcast location and could fast forward quickly through long podcasts. This exceeded that, it can bookmark all podcasts I play it seems. I’ve never had a player that could do that. In fact it’s been hard to find a player with the bookmark feature that’s this small. The fast forward is excellent, it forwards more quickly based on the length of your podcast it seems and progressively speeds up (or rewinds) more as you hold the fast forward (or rewind) button. That’s exactly what I need. Don’t know why it’s so hard to find this feature.
The sound quality is great, though it could use a little more volume on some tracks that seem to be recorded lower, but that’s to be expected from such a low powered little player like this. Only need high volume when I have alot of wind blowing when biking.
The only thing I wish it had was the ability to play all of my podcasts (or to select several to play). It can do this for music files, but not the podcasts files. Not sure why that would have been hard to add. This is a minor thing.
The fact this is cheaper than the Apple iPod Shuffle and has a screen and probably more features it seems like a Shuffle killer to me. Also, I got mine refurbished for only $18 and after 3 weeks I have no complaints.
4 Stars Very nice Mp3 player
I felt this Mp3 player was great for the money. The sound quality is excellent and it was easy to add my music to it. I bought both of my grandsons one for Christmas and they love this mp3 player. I would’ve rated it 5 stars but I didn’t because once the clip came off I couldn’t get it to stay on and eventually I lost the clip but make no mistake about it I still use and love this mp3 player. I just hold it in my hand and that’s okay. I’m going to purchase another one and this time I’m going to glue the clip on. It’s well worth the money as far as sound and function capabilities.
