User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Works as advertised
Simple to use. Tip: do not max out the volume on the device, use the radio to increase the volume. Less distortion this way.

4 Stars Works Great – No Hassle
Length of Ownership: One Week

Performance: GREAT!

I’ve never had any issue with this device whatsoever.

I’ve owned 1 other FM Transmitter in the past, made by iRiver.

This one frankly works better. I’ve never heard a drop of RF interference yet. I never had any huge issue with my iRiver unit either. I just smashed it on accident (LOL)

Quality of Material: Feels Cheap & Looks Cheap

Quality of Workmanship: Average

Overall: I’d buy it again.

What consumers of FM Transmitters MUST MUST MUST remember, is that you can’t judge one of these things for having a little interference. Sure, there are variances in quality as with any other product… BUT, these things LITERALLY are trying to OVERPOWER the massive wattage of the high power radio equipment at the radio stations. They won’t always be successful. ANY device that operates through the open air will have SOME interference… no matter the quality. PLUS, it is ILLEGAL to output too much power on a licensed frequency! Nobody wants the FCC to jail them, so give these little devices a break!

1 Star Stay away from it.
The Monster RadioPlay 300 FM Transmitter (MBL-FM XMTR300) is hardly useable. It works but with intermittent noise in the raidio. very annoying.

1 Star doesn’t work
I bought this transmitter and it doesn’t work. I contacted the company that sent it and they told me I had 30 days to send it back from the time I ordered it. It took the company 14 days to send it and it was a gift for my husbands birthday so my time is up. I am very unhappy. I am trying to get them to make an acception in my case. We shall see.

5 Stars Worth it
This is a great product for what it is. Obviously there are better methods out there to connect your Ipod or other media device, but if you don’t want to drop the money for a new stereo with an auxilery input, or you have a factory stereo that would be really expensive to replace, then this is the way to go. Fully programable so you can choose any open setting. Easy to use, and the sound quality is ok. I use it to listen to podcasts mostly, and the sound is perfect for that. When I listen to music on it, you can tell there is a sound quality issue, but not enough to pass on this product.
