The charger is well constructed and I expect it will be durable. My only complaint is that the cord is not long enough or at least the coiled section should be more flexible to enable greater length without pulling back on the phone connector.

The item was sent promptly. BUT, it was very obvious that the item was a used one, and was defective. I had to go out of town for over a month the very next day, so I missed the opportunity to return it.

Bought this for my 1st gen iPhone, which I use heavily and doesn’t quite make it through the day. Cable is very short, and built-in, which is what I wanted–I didn’t want to lose the cable and I wanted a non-white cable that could lay around in the car without screaming “expensive Apple electronics may be in this car”.
Anyway, it works great and it’s cheap–my fully drained iPhone can be powered up after 5 minutes or so of charging, and otherwise, my iPhone can get a boost between meetings.

Don’t Buy this Charger!!! You have been warned!!! Like several of the other reviews, the car charger worked fine for a couple of days and then, for no reason, stopped working. I checked the built in fuse and that was fine. Tried it in several cars with several iPhone/iPods … it is dead.
