I received this item fairly quickly, which was a bonus. Unfortunately that is where the bonuses stopped. The radio worked fine but when we went to upload our own music to the player it would not replay what was uploaded. And while the MP3 Player was connected to the computer for charging it actually drained the MP3 player instead of charging it. I have already returned this MP3 player and I have already received my money back for it.
2 Stars Unsuitable for audio books
The Sansa Clip is an attractive unit with good sound quality, a fair user interface, reliable bookmarking, but is utterly unsuitable for audio books. This is because it cannot accommodate listening to a book disk-by-disk. If you just download an mp3 book, it will play in this order:
Disk 1 Track 1
Disk 2 Track 1
…
Disk 9 Track 1
Disk 1 Track 2
Disk 2 Track 2
etc.
This is not helpful. I asked Sansa support what I should do and they had 2 suggestions: (1) make a play list by hand, or (2) edit the track properties before downloading. Not being familiar with play lists, I chose the second path.
The editing consisted of changing every disk’s album title to something distinct (Jaws D1, Jaws D2, etc). Then the player would play the entirety of D1, then stop. This is almost adequate.
Unfortunately, there are still two problems. (1) I have to manually restart at the beginning of every disk. This is especially difficult when driving. (2) The poor UI is maddening. There is no folder view. You can’t really see which disk you’re selecting because so little of the title is displayed.
San Disk has made some very poor design choices in this unit. To my knowledge, only San Disk has this problem. I’m returning my unit.
3 Stars Nice and small but a little tricky.
I really like the features of this little player. However, after about a month the buttons were difficult to use. You would have to press very hard or in a very exact spot to move around in the menu.
4 Stars Happy with purchase..great little mp3 player
I only give this 4 stars at the moment, because I haven’t used it much yet. Hopefully the battery life last the 15 hours it states. Getting ready to go on vacation and I’m sure it will get a work out on our 2500 mile drive. Syncing music was easy, very small in size, easy to use and super sound. LOVE IT so far!

This is a great product. I use it mainly at the gym. It’s not too big, and not too small. I would get some new headphones, though.
