4 Stars Excellent, but not perfect, case
I really like this silicon case and I very nearly gave it a perfect 5. But while it’s great, it’s not perfect.
Pros:
+ All the controls, except for the power switch, are very easy to operate.
+ The silicon material feels good touch, and adds enough friction to stop my Sansa from sliding out of my shirt pocket.
+ Multi-purpose: with this case you can strap your Sansa to your arm, to your belt (with or without the white plastic belt clip thing), or let the friction of the silicon keep your Sansa in your pocket.
+ Can’t complain about the price!
Cons:
- I have to take the Sansa out of the case to get a reliable connection with the docking cable.
- The case makes the Sansa’s power switch is a little tricky to operate.
- The Sansa’s screen isn’t protected.
5 Stars Better than I expected
I bought this and the clear poly-carb protector for my Fuze and it’s better than I expected considering some other reviews.
Skin Case: Fits snugly and fits over the clear poly-carb case. The power button is hard to get to with both products in place but I only do this when I need the armband.
Armband: I can see how it might be small for some people but I have seen some wear their MP3 players on their forearm just below the elbow. It’s stretchy and works for me just fine on my upper arm.
Belt-Clip: Those who have broken theirs just didn’t look hard enough. The two disks that sandwich the silicone actually have a screw post that holds them together. Just unscrew the halves, put the correct one inside the sleeve, screw back together, and put your player in the sleeve. You do not have to separate the buttons from the clip to do this. Very simple. If I were a jogger or runner I would stick with the armband, the clip seems a little flimsy. Fast walkers or walking with a stroller or on your way to work its probably just fine.
If you buy the clear poly-carb case, you can also use the belt clip. It has the properly drilled hole and indent specifically for this clip, and you can unscrew the outer half and slip over the silicone sleeve when you need the armband.
I didn’t know which one would work for me but I’m glad I bought both because I now have a lot more options to enjoy my Fuze.
5 Stars perfect
OK…so it doesn’t cover the display screen, but I only use it with the armband when running (don’t need the screen protected if I’m not putting it in a pocket anyways). The skin, armband and belt clip does exactly as advertised at such a small price.
4 Stars Uncomfortable, but…
I found the arm band rather uncomfortable. I have fairly big (not body builder size) arms and the band barely stretched around my arm and the 1.5″ wide elastic band dug into my skin a bit. I was wondering if I’d be able to listen to my Fuze for any length of time during a work-out. That’s when I realized that the adapter (with the little white wheel mentioned in another review) would allow me to use the Fuze case on a very comfortable 2″ wide Belkin Nano 3 armband that I already had. That made it worth the price for me.

I would give this five starts but I broke the belt clip while trying to open it. the armband seems durable and the silicone case is also decent.
