it was alright… i dont like the fact that you have to keep on changing batteries.. . but i mean i got what i paid for… so yah…

I did like all the cool features like the fm tuner and the mp3 combo idea. I also liked the various color change features, however the play button got easily broken and could not play nothing or even turn it on. It’s posible that the buttons might be too testy on this device but I still got to give this a great review because for the price you pay for this device you get quite a good deal. I bought two of them and the other one still works fine and over 300 songs plus the random color change and the fm radio, darn thats cool.
5 Stars Rugged MP3 Player
This is my 3rd Coby of the same model type. I practice lacrosse and hockey and listen to my MP3 player while doing those activities. The Coby really takes a beating much better than other MP3 players. I used to go though one a month. Now I go through a Coby once a year until it literally gets smashed by either a lacrosse ball, a check or a puck. I try to conceal the Coby in a pocket to protect it. But listening to music during informal (no coach) workouts really help me go longer. Without the Coby or any MP3 player I tend to get lazy.
The sound is very loud and it has a built in equalizer and a few different viewing colors. I was able to place my entire music collection on this MP3 player. The ear phones are cheap, I use Sony ear phones that wrap around your ear and and withstand a tough workout as well.
Back to the player, it has a built in USB connection and Coby gives you an extension so the unit does not get accidentally hit while attached to the computer. I really don’t use all the features. Once I preset the equalizer, download my music I’m out working out so you don’t have to spend a lot of time with it. The FM radio gets poor reception and I have never used the built in recorder. Its light, compact and I would purchase a Coby similar model anytime.

Great for use when I’m fishing or doing yard work.
I bought a small set of speakers to use at the office and on our deck at home.
