I bought this iPod for my 14 yo son. It is his very first iPod and he loves it. It and iTunes are easy to use and we were both pleasantly surprised to learn there are several very fun game apps that he can get for it. It took quite awhile for iTunes to convert all the music files he had, but aside from the time we were glad that it is an automated process which needed little user-interaction to happen.

Returned the first Nano because battery wouldn’t hold charge. The replacement had the same problem.

I got the nano as a birthday gift for my 10 year old daughter. She loves it. Its amazing how much the nano has improved since I had one a few years ago. Very happy with it. My only criticism is when the battery goes (which happens after a 3 years)you need to get a new one.

2 Stars decent headphone quality, but extremely uncomfortable
I bought these headphones for the purpose of listening to music/video and also to do some mixing with music recordings. I have to say, while I do like a lot of sony’s earbuds for their sound quality and bass response, I was somewhat disappointed with this pair of headphones. Bass response was mediocre, not as powerful as my $10 earbuds surprisingly enough. The mids and highs seemed fine. However, these headphones were extremely tight and uncomfortable. I thought it would be good that they are tight and thus would keep a lot of sound out (which they do, but at a cost). After maybe 30 minutes to an hour my ears were aching a lot, so much that I had to take off the headphones and rest my ears for a while. With glasses it is even worse. Do not buy if you want headphones that you can keep on for long periods of time.

Quite decent. Sony quality. Light weight. The tension is sufficient to keep the phones in place, but not too tight to cause headaches, YMMV. Sound quality is acceptable. So far there are no issues with reliability. Its a simple design so there’s very little that can break or go wrong with these. The ear cups are foam with super thin vinyl/simulated leather cover that’ll likely start tearing up after a year or so of moderate use. The cups fit on top of you ears, not over them. BTW, the plug fits the 1st gen Iphones with no problems. This is meets or exceeds all my expectations and needs for this price range.

Don’t need to worry about my iPod dying on me anymore. I used to have to hover around a computer. Now I can charge it at work WHILE ITS PLAYING. Or like when my husband had to take our computer in… I had to sweat it out without my iPod but if I had this puppy I wouldn’t have had to ration my battery life or ask my daughter to use her computer to charge it then get asked by her computer “Do you want to Format your iPod… All data will be erased” haha… I may have to buy another one because my daughter seems to make this one disappear every-so-often. I don’t know how it charges because I can’t play music and charge. All I can hear is a thump..thump..thump noise. Definitely useless unless you just want to charge your Sansa in the car.

Worked for a few weeks then stopped for no reason. Does not contain fuse. NOTE: Buzzing sound through car speakers while being charged. Buzzing noise does not occur when using headphones while charging; only when hooked to head unit. Must be effect of vehicle grounding signal being amplified through stereo. One way to avoid this is to use a Cig Lighter DC/AC inverter and the A/C charger for the Sansa.

4 Stars Great for audiobooks
I have been very happy with my Sansa Fuze MP3 player. I have only used it to listen to audiobooks and so far, I have no complaints. The battery life is long, it’s easy to use and the screen is very clear.

I spent a lot of time researching digital media players when my previous one died, reading reviews on Amazon, CNet, and a few other websites. After first ruling out Apple iPods because of price, file format compatibility, and syncing features, I seriously investigated Microsoft Zunes, Creative Zens, and the SanDisk Sansa Fuzes. I finally settled on the Fuze, and have been pleased. The controls are pretty intuitive, and transferring music to the device is easy. Transferring movies requires a media converter which is free for download from SanDisk. The display is adequate, providing enough quality for most movies, but I didn’t buy this to play movies. The provided earbuds are adequate, and the battery life is decent. My only complaint is that the docking connector is proprietary. Overall I’m pleased with the Fuze.

You don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a quality MP3 player. Highly recommend it!

4 Stars Fast delivery! But software is junk!
I received my SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8gb in just a couple of days. Very satisfied with the company (SF Planet) that shipped it! The price was excellent when I bought it and the MP3 works and sounds fine. I was surprised with the good sound from the earphones that I got. The only big issue is the software from SanDisk: it should be improved; its hard to upload pictures and videos or simply does not work at all most of the times. It crashes a lot! I have to look out around for third-parties software to achieve this. There are many complaints around the web about it, so I don’t understand why Sandisk has not udpated the software and fix some bugs with this MP3 player.

I was torn between an iPod and Sansa Fuze 8 GB. Glad I went with the Sansa. It is by far a better value for the money, and it works well. It may not have the bells and whistles of an iPod, but it is totally reliable, intuitive to use, and I am free from the tyranny of Apple and iTunes. Highly recommended.

5 Stars iPod Flip Case
I have purchased four of these cases–for myself and for relatives. Everyone likes them. They do add some bulk to the iPod but that’s true of any case. They also have a funny smell that fades after use. The price is right and they arrive quickly from the vendor.

5 Stars The best there is.
As most of the people who are reading this review know, finding the right case for your iPod is, at best, a competition between style and functionality. But I am glad to report that this case… is both! This is most definitely not the stupid shell case that won’t fit right and always comes off, or the $30 silicone case with the irremovable clip on the back that gets lint all over it when you put it in your pocket or the athletic armband that bends your iPod into an unusual shape and forces you to buy a Touch… No, this is none of these.

This is a beautiful flip-case with openings for the volume buttons, cord input, and headphone jack, held closed with a magnet of surprising force. IT is, by far, the best case I’ve had the pleasure to purchase. And all for less than $20.

I bought this iPod for my 14 yo son. It is his very first iPod and he loves it. It and iTunes are easy to use and we were both pleasantly surprised to learn there are several very fun game apps that he can get for it. It took quite awhile for iTunes to convert all the music files he had, but aside from the time we were glad that it is an automated process which needed little user-interaction to happen.

Charges Sansa e280 and Fuse players in about 2/3 of the time it takes by USB/computer method. -and the cool thing is that the player goes into normal play mode while connected so that you can use it while it’s charging, unlike when connected to a computer. 5 stars!

my son was so happy when my sife and i gave this as a gift. he has this ipod shuffle for so long and he wish that he could have an ipod that has screen on it so he can view the songs and watch video and this is the first thing that came up to our minds. the shipping came a day before his birthday. he was so happy. thanks

1 Star 2 Nanos wouldn’t hold battery charge
Returned the first Nano because battery wouldn’t hold charge. The replacement had the same problem.

5 Stars iPod Nano
I got the nano as a birthday gift for my 10 year old daughter. She loves it. Its amazing how much the nano has improved since I had one a few years ago. Very happy with it. My only criticism is when the battery goes (which happens after a 3 years)you need to get a new one.
